We want to thank Basics Range and Gun on Wells Rd in Orange Park for sponsoring the shooting events for the March 2014 Explorers Delegates Meeting.

The 2016/2017 Explorer year began in August. Don't miss a chance to be a part of the excitement this year! Call and join the Explorers today.

Clay County Sheriff Explorers meet every Monday night from 6:00 PM - 8:30 PM. Please Contact Detective Mark Romano for details.

The purpose of the Explorer Post is to provide a better understanding of law enforcement careers through training and education to the members in the various areas of law enforcement.

The Explorers conduct various community service projects and assist the Sheriff's Office with responsibilities throughout the county. Explorers have the opportunity to observe and assist in all phases of law enforcement -- communication, patrol and detention.

The Explorers have the opportunity to be trained in law enforcement procedures and learn the skills of law enforcement officers. They get the chance to test their skills and compete state-wide against other Explorer Posts. Explorers can earn college scholarships or funding for career specific training.
